THE SHORT VERSION
Before writing television pilots and performing stand-up, James was a commercial pilot, financial advisor, and middle manager at a Fortune 500 company. In other words, he spent decades studying high-stakes systems and the people uniquely equipped to break them.
Now based in Los Angeles, he writes character-first TV comedies, performs internationally, and creates live shows built around big comic premises. His work is grounded, optimistic, and fascinated by the gap between who people think they are and what they actually do.
